Was du unbedingt mitbringst

Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Betrieb von hochverfügbaren Web‑Anwendungen und self‑hosted Kubernetes in virtualisierten Umgebungen
Fundiertes Wissen und Erfahrung im Umgang mit Terraform, Helm, Puppet, Python, Bash, Linux oder vergleichbaren Technologien
Praktische Erfahrung und Freude an Pairing und enger technischer Zusammenarbeit
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Eine klare, strukturierte und effektive Kommunikationsweise in technischen Themen

Betrieb, Wartung und Optimierung unserer Kubernetes‑basierten Plattform für unsere Marken
Sicherstellung hoher Systemverfügbarkeit und Stabilität
Unser Ziel ist, Self-Service Dienste anzubieten und die Unabhängigkeit der Feature-Teams in Entwicklung und Betrieb zu stärken 
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Die Komponenten unserer Infrastruktur wie VMs, Firewall, Loadbalancer, CDN, Datenbanken, Message Broker und Kubernetes Cluster managen wir automatisiert 
Du arbeitest mit Operations-, QAund Backend-Spezialisten in einem Kanban Prozess zusammen 
Wir sind keine Einzelkämpfer, sondern ein echtes Team: Pair Programming und Reviews werden bei uns tagtäglich gelebt

Join our Platform Operations & Security team and help shape our self-hosted Kubernetes platform that the users of our brands Parship, ElitePartner, and eharmony rely on every day.

Minimum Qualifications

Several years of experience in running highly available web applications and self-hosted Kubernetes in virtualized environments
Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, Puppet, Python, Bash, Linux, or comparable technologies
Practical experience with—and enjoyment of—pairing and close technical collaboration
Very good written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

A clear, structured, and effective communication style on technical topics
A strong mindset for automation

What you can expect

Operating, maintaining, and optimizing our Kubernetes-based platform for our brands
Ensuring high system availability and stability
Our goal is to offer self-service capabilities and strengthen the independence of our feature teams in development and operations
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): we manage components of our infrastructure—such as VMs, firewalls, load balancers, CDNs, databases, message brokers, and Kubernetes clusters—through automation
You’ll work with operations, QA, and backend specialists in a Kanban process
We love to work in a team: pair programming and reviews are part of our everyday work
