Als .NET Engineer (all genders) arbeitest du an unseren Matchmaking-Produkten Parship, ElitePartner und eharmony. Du wirst Teil eines cross-funktionalen Engineering-Teams und übernimmst Verantwortung für das Design, die Implementierung und die Weiterentwicklung von Features, die unsere Kund:innen und internen Stakeholder täglich nutzen. Wir entwickeln und betreiben unsere Plattformen selbst, arbeiten in einem agilen Kanban-Setup und legen großen Wert auf Ownership, Zusammenarbeit und kontinuierliche Verbesserung.

Was du unbedingt mitbringst

Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Aufbau skalierbarer Backend-Services mit .NET.
Starke Grundlagenkenntnisse (Clean Code, OO-Design, moderne Architekturen wie Microservices/serviceorientierte Systeme).
Erfahrung in einer agilen Arbeitsweise (Kanban/Scrum).
Ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein und eine hohe Verbindlichkeit.
Sehr gutes Englisch in Wort und Schrift.

Was du idealerweise noch mitbringst

Routine in Pair Programming und systematischen Code Reviews.
Erfahrung mit GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes sowie Monitoring/Observability.
Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Blazor-Anwendungen.
Erfahrung mit Refactoring und Tooling-/Prozessverbesserungen
Interesse daran, KI zur Steigerung von Produktivität, Testing und Monitoring einzusetzen.
Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil (B2+).

Was dich erwartet

Du konzipierst, implementierst und betreibst skalierbare .NET Backend-Services - von der Idee und Umsetzung bis zu Deployment, Monitoring, Optimierung und Nachverfolgung.
Du zerlegst Inhalte in kleine, Bestandteile, schätzt den Aufwand ein und passt je nach Situation Schätzungen an.
Du teilst Status, Risiken und Abhängigkeiten transparent, holst frühzeitig Klärung ein und bestätigst Prioritäten sowie Anforderungen.
Du stellst eine hohe Code-Qualität sicher, z.B. durch Pair Programming, Code Reviews und regelmäßiges Refactoring und dokumentierst Entscheidungen sowie Trade-offs bei Bedarf.
Du wirkst an CI/CD, containerbasierten Deployments und der Aufarbeitung von Incidents mit.
Du fragst proaktiv nach Unterstützung und bietest Hilfe an, teilst Wissen, gibst und nimmst Feedback konstruktiv an und trägst zu einem respektvollen, inklusiven Teamumfeld bei.

As a .Net Engineer (all genders) you will work on our matchmaking products Parship, ElitePartner and eharmony. You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team and take responsibility for designing, implementing, and evolving features that our customers and internal stakeholders use every day. We develop and operate our platforms ourselves, work in an agile Kanban setup, and value ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications and skills

Several years of experience building scalable backend services with .NET.
Strong software engineering fundamentals (Clean Code, OO design, modern architectures such as microservices/service-oriented systems)
Hands-on experience in agile development (Kanban/Scrum)
A strong quality and reliability mindset
Very good English language skills (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications and skills

Routine use of Pair Programming and systematic code reviews.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and production monitoring/observability.
Experience building Blazor applications.
Experience leading refactorings and tooling/process improvements.
Interest in using AI to improve productivity, testing, and monitoring.
German language skills are a plus (B2+).

What you can expect

Design, implement and operate scalable .NET backend services from idea and implementation to deployment, monitoring, optimization and production follow-up.
Break down work into small, shippable pieces, estimate effort and update estimates as scope evolves.
Share status, risks and dependencies transparently, seek clarification early, and confirm priorities and requirements.
Ensure high code quality through practices like Pair Programming, code reviews, and regular refactoring, documenting decisions and trade-offs where needed. 
Contribute to CI/CD, container-based deployments, and incident learning.
Ask for and offer help proactively, share knowledge, give and receive feedback constructively, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive team environment.
