Minimum Qualifications and skills
- Several years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, plus a deep understanding of state-of-the-art architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Routine use of automated tests (especially unit tests) and a strong focus on clean, maintainable code - ideally already using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in an audience-appropriate way - whether you are talking to engineers (all genders), product managers (all genders), or other stakeholders.
- Very good English skills (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications and skills
- Experience with Pair Programming and working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience or strong interest in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and in modularising Android applications to improve scalability, build times, and team autonomy.
- Interest in augmenting your daily work with AI.
- Track record of driving technical improvements or innovations while keeping business value and long-term sustainability in mind.
- Good German language skills (e.g. B2 or above) are a plus for collaborating smoothly with stakeholders and teams across the company.
